It was quite difficult to achieve those numbers, as the scythed chariots were much harder to disengage then say, shock cav, which indeed is more realistic. I took your advice, and quickly tested this out to see if scythed chariots could do at least that. Overall, I'd say using shock cav would be a much wiser choice, as scythed chariots half the time require multiple clicks to move away from their engagement.Дo note, changes have been made to the above post regarding how I believe chariots should re-act towards cavalry. This was a consistent pattern of cyclic charges to gain a victory, as well as the kill counts you will see.

They should be most devastating upon impact, like shock cav! (They do have weak melee defence, so why not?)

Increase the initial damage dealt upon charge by a chariot.

Currently, they require multiple clicks respond to any move orders, and are halted by almost any unit in their way!

Make chariots continously run in and out between ranks, they should be capable of pushing aside most enemies with ease! If this is not automated, then at least allow the player to do so.

Currently their only passive abilities are hide and discipline. They should have a passive ability which deals damage to any units on their side, especially light/medium units. It would be a fine balance between our current Rome 2 chariots, and those of Rome 1. Their strength needs to be in the initial charge itself, and their weakness anything which stops their overall momentum. Yet, I also feel that Scythed Chariots should not be able to mow down entire armies, and in any prolonged melee, even against light/med cav, they should lose. My argument lies between the two, as I believe what made them fair-game in Rome 1 was their ability to run amok, making them useless for the entire battle if used carelessly. First, Scythed Chariots are OP in Rome 1. Now, after seeing the results, we can debate two things. Think we missed one?
